Center Closings (Academic Year 2009-2010)

  • Summer Maintenance: Entire Month of July
  • Labor Day: September 7th
  • Election Day: November 3rd
  • Thanksgiving Break: November 26th-27th
  • Christmas Break: December 22nd - January 4th
  • Martin Luther King Day: January 19th
  • Presidents Day: February 16th

Assignment Priority Structure

Category 1- Students from outside the United States

Category 2- Students from the farthest away from NYS (Texas, California, etc) are designated Category 2.

Category 3- Students within the tri-state area are placed in Category 3. Due to limited availability, all applications in Categories 2 and 3 will be placed on a wait list based on the date of application. We will notify students regarding thier waitlist status.

Classes Offered

Group Cycle
A high intensity group cycling class suitable for all levels. Increase your cardiovascular endurance without impact. Each class is different, fun, and set to great music. Come ready for a variety of sprints, hills, mixed terrain, and flats. Arrive prior to the start time of class to set up your bike. Please let the instructor know if you are new to the class.

Body Sculpt
Develop muscular strength and define your body. The class will utilize a combination of weights, tubing, and your own body weight to perform resistance exercises. Learn resistance-training exercises that you can take with you to the weight room.

Sports Conditioning
picture of a student riding bikeA high intensity fun class with running drills, plyometrics, and strength training. Bring a friend as you enjoy a total body athletic workout using weights, bands, steps and more. Be prepared to sweat and have a great time in partner drills and relay races. Suitable for all levels.

Yoga
A "hybrid" yoga class that combines elements of hatha yoga, traditional fitness exercises, stretching and relaxation. Designed to provide you with a more powerful, flexible, defined physique. This class is suitable for all fitness levels.
